Court of Appeal rejects the Belgian courts’ jurisdictional competence regarding Facebook Inc. and Facebook Ireland

DATR-Cookies under the focus. If you were in Belgium, did not have a facebook account and glanced a facebook profile, your data was still tracked without your consent.
Facebook was fined €250k per day where breaches occurred but such penalty was voided in appeal, for lack of jurisdiction (EU Directive 95/45/EC does not directly affect Belgian law and therefore the provisions on international jurisdictions are excluded).
How to get away with getting unauthorised Personal data!
