EU’s Highest Court Bans Fixed Retail Prices for Online Sales of Prescription Medicines

Germany here: the government had banned cross-border sales, as lower prices could endanger German Pharmacies. The EUCJ found, opposedly, that such competition benefits the customers and the grounds of preservation of local pharmacies are not a reasonable one that can mirror public health or further exemptions under EU law.
