McDonald’s to move international tax base to UK

A further reason to relocate in UK now, other than the promised lower corproate tax rate, is the possibility to escape the claws of the Competition commissioner.

Yet, Luxembourg had a nice deal when it came to royalties for IP right.

Is UK aiming at becoming a fierce tax heaven just outside EU? Probably, but it will still face the competition of way cheaper and more exotic destinations, while sitting outside the EU territory and not enjoying access to the common market.
