Uber Brings Self-Driving Cars to SF, Without State Permits

Oeps, I did it again!

The company is lacking permits from the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Such permit is held by Google, Tesla, GM and around 130 companies – but not Uber.

Uber states that although the marketed hype goes with “Driverless cars”, such vehicles are not actually driverless.
Or better, they are, but Uber places a driver anyway, attempting to twist the relevant feature.
