Europe kills the cookie monster

Remember that popup on websites asking you confirmation on the cookie policy?
Europe is going to twist the law.

I’ll save you the explanation of what a cookie is: instead of notifying users with a popup, browsers should let you tailor your own cookie preferences in order to let you create a cookie profile on what you can and don’t want to accept.
Therefore, only website with special features will have to show up such message.

Non-compliant companies would be fined E10m or 2% of the worldwide turnover.

Some labels are being studied to show which website are secure and demanding undue personal information.
