McCartney battles to reclaim copyright in Beatles’ songs

Interesting case for music lovers.

US Copyright Act 1976 grants the right to music artists to reclaim ownership of their Ip-content prior 1978 by serving a simple notice.

McCartney is hoping to being successful with that, since such provision may breach the publishing agreement.

For the records, a previous case by Duran Duran failed, since their agreement was under UK law.
