Adapt Your Leadership Style to the Situation

Very nice management tip of the day on leadership styles.

Leaders mostly assume two kinds of approaches:

  • dominance: suits better when you need to have people aligned,
  • prestige: requires seeds signs of wisdom and being a role model/ It works better when you need to empower people that report to you.

As you grow as a leader, you should learn to suit the situation and come up with further models.
