Law That Would Let Schools Search Students’ Phones Fails, for Now

California’ State Assembly rejected a law to repeal privacy protections against warrantless searches, (on paper) in order to fight cyberbullism and similar threats.

Still wondering if there were any limitations or conditions to such searches.
